COVID-19 EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN
Safety/infection control activities
Geocadinal Integrated Services Limited adopted an emergency response plan given the recent outbreak of the pandemic – COVID-19. Therefore, Safety / infection control activities were designed as highlighted below:
- GISL developed a facility pandemic safety plan and appointed a dedicated safety officer to modify as required.
- GISL Provides staff education about COVID-19 infection control and update polices as required.
- GISL has a guidance for staff monitoring for signs of illness (including self-reporting, self- quarantine, and start/end of shift evaluation) and created a mechanism for reporting both illness and absenteeism.
- GISL provided digital IR laser gun, soap, running water, nose mask and hand sanitizer for quick check/protection of staff and visitors to the company premises.
- GISLdevelopedstaffcommunicationmechanismsandredundantinformation management process.
- GISL developed procedure for notifying the state agency for health care administration if there is a suspected case.
- GISLemphasizeshandandrespiratoryhygieneandotherinfectionpreventiontechniques througheducation,policies,signage,andeasyavailabilityofsupplies.
- GISLalsodevelopedenvironmentalservicesroomdecontaminationandwastestream plans.
BASIC EMERGENCY PROCEDURES/INFORMATION
If a personnel is suspected to have the virus, the following procedures are to be followed appropriately:
- If the personnel is at home during the time of suspicion, he/she is required to keep away from family members to avoid further spread and if possible, sanitize his apartment or where ever he/she may have come in contact with to further stop the spread.

Under such cases, the affected person is to provide the following information:
- Nature of medical emergency
- Location of the emergency (address, building, room number),
- Name and phone number from which the person is calling
- Immediate arrangement is made to take the personnel to a self-quarantined location while we await the arrival of the paramedic/ doctor.
